Making Ireland's most beautiful trails accessible to everyone
Who She Is
Siobhan grew up in Cork hiking the Macgillycuddy's Reeks with her family every summer. After studying Environmental Management at University College Cork, she spent six years working for the Irish Mountaineering Club before becoming an independent guide. Now at rovaone Limited, she's completed over 500 guided hikes and personally walked every major route in Killarney, the Burren, and Glendalough multiple times across different seasons.
What drives her work isn't complicated — she believes hiking shouldn't be intimidating. She's seen thousands of beginners find confidence on Ireland's trails through honest guidance, practical tips, and realistic difficulty assessments. Her articles come from direct experience managing groups in variable Irish weather and understanding what actually works for people new to hiking.
